The St. Johns Board of County Commissioners recognizes November 8th as the third Annual Israel Friendship Day, after unveiling a new art exhibit honoring the 75th anniversary of Israel.
The exhibit called, “Israel at 75: The Pioneering Spirit” features four colorful paintings that is part of a collaboration with the Mishkan Museum Of Art in Ein Harod. The artists illustrate how their country of origin affects their migration to the Holy Land, according to a press release by St. Johns County.
In a speech from Rabbi Mendel Sharfstein, with the Chabad of St. Johns County, he reiterates how important it is to the Jewish Community to see local support after the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel. St. Johns County Comptroller, Brandon Patty says the Jewish community has had a long-standing relationship in the area and the city supports them.
