Louise Linton, the onetime Marie Antoinette of the Trump era, has finally found her place in Washington.
signed into law that makes animal cruelty a federal offense punishable by up to seven years in prison. And she was publicly pissed when her husband’s boss authorized the import of a lion trophy from Tanzania a little over three weeks ago.
Alongside a photo of a lion, Linton pasted part of a statement that the Center for Biological Diversity released in September to decry the government’s authorization of a U.S. hunter to import a lion trophy from Tanzania. This was the first hunter given permission since the species was protected under the the Endangered Species Act in 2016.

The president’s large adult sons have dabbled as big game hunters, especiallyThere remain on the internet many pictures of them grinning toothily in front of dead things. In a June interview, Linton somewhat evadedquestion about Don Jr.’s predilection for killin’ things.
