From 'I do' to 'I’m done'—When divorce hits a marriage showcased on social media
All breakups are tough but divorce can be particularly searing for 20-somethings who have showcased their marriage on Instagram and TwitterWhen Jack Rollins and his bride splashed their wedding pictures across Facebook, friends cheered with likes and comments. But two years later, when the couple separated and later divorced, the photos became a painful reminder of happier times.
“I didn’t delete the wedding album from Facebook,” says Mr. Rollins, who was 26 years old when he married and now is 31. “It was a part of my life.”
