, which dropped June 28. Besides blessing fans with eight new tracks, the Colombian and Puerto Rican urban artists are also releasing fresh music videos. “Cuidao Por Ahi,” which premiered Aug. 22, is their third clip fromPaying homage to their witty lyrics, the music video, filmed by director Colin Tilley in the white and blue scenery of Mykonos, Greece, shows the two reggaeton stars -- in creepy masks and bloody make-up -- terrorizing the town.
The video, which includes scenes such as Balvin splattering blood in front of a nearby church and hanging upside down over a fire, has caused controversy on social media, with many people dubbing it as a "reggaeton satanico." Defending his creative vision, Balvin took to to ask: "If being SATANIC is to create different content and entertainment, then what am I?"
The lyrics of the song, meanwhile, basically warn someone to take care of themselves when they’re out and about in the streets, especially because Balvin and Bunny are in the mood to do evil things. “Cuidao Por Ahi” follows the music videos for their first single “Que Pretendes” and “Yo Le Llego,” where the boys are seeing cruising the streets of Puerto Rico in a floating boat. All three videos were filmed by Tilley.
