J-pop singer MayJamileh will make her acting debut in Tokyo's WestSideStory
when it opens in November for a seven-month run in Tokyo.
The iconic Broadway show will play from November 2019 to May 2020 at IHI Stage Around Tokyo in Toyosu, the first immersive entertainment facility of its kind in Asia. Three seasons of the Japan-cast production have been announced, with a double cast for the main characters including Tony, Maria, Anita, Riff and Bernardo. May J. will appear in Season 2 as Anita, doubling with formerMay J. is probably best-known for her inspiring Japanese cover of "Let It Go" from the movie
