Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke and head coach Doug Pederson addressed the media Thursday in a pre-draft news conference.
Robinson signed a three-year, $54 million contract extension prior to the start of the 2022 season and played 14 games for the club last year. He was originally drafted by the team in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
In his career, Robinson has started and played in 75 games. This will be his second major knee injury of his NFL career, tearing his ACL just two games into the 2018 season. Robinson's status will be important to monitor as training camp approaches. The Jaguars have already lost one tackle, Jawaan Taylor, who left via free agency and signed a four-year, $80 million deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. Former second-round pick Walker Little is expected to take his spot at right tackle.
Bartch, the team's starting left guard through the first five games of the 2022 season, reportedly dislocated his knee during the team's loss to the Houston Texans in Week 5.LG Ben Bartch in the locker room after the game. Said he dislocated his knee, but is okay. Didn’t say whether he’d be back next week or not. Bartch went down in the first half and was replaced by Tyler Shatley.
