If you're anything like us, you've probably spent the majority of your social distancing time watching beauty videos on YouTube. What better way is there to pass the time than learning how to perfect a cut crease? Well now, makeup lovers have something even more exciting to look forward to because’s very own reality show is right around the corner — and it's all about blending as fast as you can.
On April 1, James announced the official premiere date for his upcoming YouTube Original series with a simple post, will be available to stream from April 24. "This project has been a dream come true and I cannot wait for you all to see all of the hard work that went into it... Blend, but don’t blend in," James wrote in the caption.
If you don’t have a premium YouTube account and are dying to watch the show, don’t panic because, in his post, James also added that the series will be completely free to watch. In addition to the launch date, James and theteam finally revealed the six contestants that would be competing on the show: Benny Cerra, Christian Perez, Ashley Strong, Britany Raquel Renteria, Kailin Chase, and Gabriel Dreams.
The majority of the contestants are complete unknowns but they all seem to be part of the beauty community on YouTube. It will surely be exciting to be introduced to the contestants and watch their skills in action, though it’s clear from their Instagram pages that they’re already killer makeup gurus.. Though many details were and are still under wraps, he did share thatwill feature six contestants who will face off to become the next major makeup influencer.
