Actor Jamie Dornan has given details on his failed audition to play Kal-El/Superman in Zack Snyder's 2013 movie Man of Steel.
The famous Kryptonian has been portrayed by many actors over the years, including Christopher Reeve, Brandon Routh, and the upcoming Superman: Legacy movie, David Corenswet. However, one of the more famous portrayals is that of Henry Cavill in Zack Snyder’s 2013 movieDornan, the Irish actor known for his roles in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, Belfast, and most recently, Heart of Stone, has shared details on his Man of Steel audition.
“They were Superman pajamas, they weren’t an actual suit. I remember auditioning for that. I got nowhere near putting the suit on.” He also shared how he nearly played Nathan Drake in an earlier iteration of the Uncharted movie, a role that ultimately went to Tom Holland.He appears in Heart of Stone, a new Netflix action thriller starring Gal Gadot.Jonathan Sim is a film critic and filmmaker born and raised in New York City.
