JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — JAXPORT is inviting the public to celebrate the arrival ofThe magenta-colored vessel is 364 meters in length. That’s almost three and a half football fields! It can carry 14,000 containers. This is compared to other large ships to call JAXPORT which topped out at a capacity of 11,923 containers.
The vessel, ONE STORK, will begin sailing along the St. Johns River toward JAXPORT at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9. The magenta-colored ship will be in the channel for about 2 hours…
