The actress broke Instagram when she joined the social media platform
, Aniston said that she had begun to see Instagram as a way of showing the world what she wants to, rather than what's fed by the tabloid press.
"I think I had this idea … I don’t want to be the only person … Let’s see, what do I want to say here?” she said. “I thought, ‘Why would I do this? People are already in my panty drawers all the time. And I want them out of my panty drawers. But now I can decide which pair to show them.” In just two weeks, Aniston has over 18 million Instagram follows. She admits the exposure makes her feel a little uncomfortable.
“I find it very odd,” she says. “I don’t understand it – it doesn’t make sense to me. I’d love for someone to break it down, but there it is and now it has to keep going.”
