Finnegan Biden, 23, was the first lady's plus one in Westminster Abbey as President Joe Biden was not in attendance. The Biden's second-oldest granddaughter wore a yellow Markarian dress complete with a cape while Jill Biden wore a blue top and skirt by Ralph Lauren, in apparent solidarity with Ukraine.
The King himself was seen exchanging works with Zelensky. Biden would go on to sit next to Zelensky in Westminster Abbey the next day. "I sat next to her today, and we were talking about the war, and she was saying how, really, the sirens are now just commonplace every day. It’s a big part of her life,” Biden said in a phone interview with CNN.Princess Kate previously hosted Zelensky on the eve of Queen Elizabeth's funeral at Buckingham Palace in September. President Biden personally visited Ukraine in February.
