The perfume is a multi-layered scent that is very feminine at its core. Its floral notes stem from the muguet, a northern hemisphere flower widely referred to as lily of the valley. Though supple and sweetly scented, the flower is highly poisonous, embodying an intriguing natural balance between that which is powerful and that which is delicate.
Aubepine, an ancestor of the rose, adds a complex and spicy aroma to the fragrance, while heliotrope nectar and Peruvian balsam trees add sweet and woodsy notes, respectively. Vanilla and sandalwood add a final dimension to Métallique. Tom Ford packaged the perfume in a smooth, silver-tone bottle embellished with a gold metallic label and matching cap. In the fragrance’s promotional image, Smalls is transformed into a chrome-silver, gleaming goddess meant to match the chic, yet visually arresting packaging. The scent is available in both 50 mL and 100 mL sizes. The metallic vessel is a must-have in every sophisticated woman's beauty counter #shelfie.
