Screen Rant was in attendance at the official The Continental: From the World of John Wick panel at San Diego Comic-Con. There, Lionsgate and Peacock revealed the official release dates for each of the three episodes of the John Wick prequel show. The first episode, "Night 1", is set to premiere on September 22, 2023. "Night 2" will air one week later on September 29, while the finale, "Night 3", will air on October 6.
Everything Comic-Con Revealed About The Continental The release dates aren't the only things Comic-Con's The Continental: From the World of John Wick panel revealed about the upcoming series. First-look footage of The Continental offered a look at some of the show's action.
As the first-look proves, The Continental is a John Wick spinoff, meaning that it will be just as action-packed as the original franchise. While it can already be expected that a show about a hotel for assassins will feature significant action, the footage description is proof that the show won't be ignoring what makes John Wick great.
John Wick: Chapter 5 has been confirmed, but the movie is several years away from its release. Thankfully, this miniseries is exactly what the John Wick franchise needs to remain in the limelight as Keanu Reeves' return continues development and as audiences await the second spinoff, the Ana de Armas-led Ballerina.
