Set to the tunes of a German-language version of The Monkees’ “I’m a Believer” and David Bowie’s own German-language version of his “Heroes” the latest from theWaititi, who adapted Christine Leunens’ novel, stars as an imaginary Adolf Hitler. The offbeat WWII comedy focuses on Jojo, a young German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers that his single mother is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic.
