Loki season 2 features Majors' Victor Timely.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Jonathan Majors' arrest didn't change Loki season 2's plans, as revealed by an official statement. When Tom Hiddleston comes back as Loki, he will be joined by multiple returning actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe show's first season. One of Loki season 2's returning cast members is Majors, who will give life to Victor Timely — a Kang the Conqueror variant — in the new season.
Speaking with Variety, Loki executive producer Kevin Wright revealed that is not the case. When asked about any possible changes being made to Loki season 2's story as a result of Majors' arrest, Wright said, "No. This is maybe — not maybe — this is the first Marvel series to never have any additional photography.
However, it is interesting that Marvel Studios apparently didn't even consider making changes to Loki season 2 based on Majors' arrest and the uncertainty surrounding it. The lack of discussion regarding changes could suggest that Majors' Victor Timely will not have a future beyond Loki season 2. If Timely's story is tied up in the Disney+ series, it would make sense for the Loki team to keep season 2 as is, without making changes that would disrupt a closed off story arc.
Majors' trial is currently set to begin on October 25, after a series of delays. Loki season 2 will be halfway through its six episodes by then. Any changes to the show would be impossible, so if Majors' trial ends up moving in a direction that requires Marvel to reassess the actor's position in the MCU, any changes would only be felt in whatever future projects would include a Kang variant, such as 2026's Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
