For the first time in more than two months, Jonathan Toews will be back on the ice for the Chicago Blackhawks' game against the New Jersey Devils Saturday night at the United Center.
“He said he felt good today and he’s like, ‘Well, I’m not going to be perfect, it might be ugly,’ “ Richardson told reporters at Fifth Third Arena. “And I said, ‘We’re a little big ugly right now, so you’ll fit right in.”
“Both , if I’m being fully honest,” the center said. “I feel like I’ve said it already, that I’ve gotten to the point where my health is more important. I feel like I have much more to give with my experience in the game and knowing how to play the game, but when day after day you’re just pushing through pain, it’s just like, to what end?
