The jury's decision was setback for federal prosecutors in one of the highest-profile cases in years involving domestic terrorism charges and militias. At trial the defense argued that the government used FBI informants and undercover agents to encourage online discussions about the alleged plot, hoping to entrap the defendants in alleged crimes because of their political views, they said.
