Thomas ultimately shot a 68 in the final round, finishing tied for 12th at 11-under at Wyndham — which placed him just outside the cutoff for the FedEx Cup playoffs.He finished at 71st in the standings in points, eight points behind Ben Griffin, who rounded out the top 70 to qualify for the FedEx St. Jude Championship.Thomas said he was ‘beyond gutted’ after the playoffs results were revealed.
