Today, the runway star was spotted arriving to the Chanel venue with fashion week’s smartest accessory: a book. Just as smart was her ensemble, which consisted of a tailored coat, black trousers, a white knit polo sweater, a top-handle bag, and on-the-go sneakers.
With all that hair and makeup action backstage, models can be waiting hours to be fitted and prepped for their walk down the catwalk. Gerber brought a novel to entertain herself this season: she carried in the novelby the Peruvian author Mario Vargas Llosa, which is about a man’s romance with a shape-shifting bad girl.
