The Princess of Wales was criticized in a newspaper column which suggested Britain’s foreign office was disappointed at Kate prioritizing ‘school and routine’ over overseas travel
The item suggested that Kate was “a reluctant overseas traveller” and pointed out that she has only made two official overseas trips this year, once to attend the wedding of the Crown Prince of Jordan and again to watch England play Argentina in the rugby in Marseille.
“She works incredibly hard. They have had this type of criticism from the press before and I’m sure they will have it again. It’s water off a duck’s back. Real people understand that you have to prioritize your children at that age, and you can’t both just go flying off to New York at the drop of a hat.
