Couric has long been the 'Screen Queen' of colon cancer after her husband died in 1998.
Journalist Katie Couric revealed on her website today that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of this year on the eighth anniversary of her marriage to John Molner.
At the mammogram, Couric said she asked a technician to film the procedure “in a very PG kind of way.” Couric said the doctor told her, “Your biopsy came back. It’s cancer. You’re going to be fine but we need to make a plan.”
