Kellyanne Conway asks reporter his ethnicity while defending Trump tweets
Kellyanne Conway on Tuesday lashed out at reporters who pressed her on President Trump’s tweets saying four Democratic congresswomen of color should “go back” to their home countries.
Conway, counselor to the president, claimed Trump was not suggesting the women return to their home countries. “Tired of being criticized,” she continued, “being doxxed by a bunch of Hollywood d-listers who have nothing else to do but sit on their asses on Twitter all day."JUST NOW: I asked @KellyannePolls, who’d just said @realDonaldTrump was not telling Omar/Tlaib/Pressley/AOC to go back to Somalia/Gaza/Puerto Rico/etc, which countries he was referring to.— Andrew Feinberg July 16, 2019
In an op-ed for the Washington Post, Conway’s husband, conservative lawyer and persistent Trump critic George Conway, called Trump “a racist president.”
