And while the ensemble could have veered overly retro, Jenner’s pared-back accessories—including her Alexander Wang heels with a single across-the-toe-bed strap, and shiny leather shoulder bag—gave the ensemble a slick, late-’90s attitude.
Jenner taking a full spandex moment to the street isn’t necessarily a radical idea. In fact, the model may have been influenced by her sister Kim Kardashian West, who has recently launched her own shapewear labeland promoting it non-stop on her Instagram. Plus, West has been flaunting elastic garments, such as cycling shorts—typically meant for wearing underneath clothes or during athletic activity—on paparazzi-flanked sidewalks for several years now.
