A tip led Pearland police to a man with four open felonies in southeast Houston. The suspect ran from officers while showing a handgun before being shot, according to HPD.
A suspect with four open felonies was shot by a Pearland police officer near Griggs Road between Marin Luther King Boulevard and Calhoun Road.An investigation is underway after a suspect was shot by a Pearland police officer near an apartment complex in southeast Houston on Tuesday afternoon.
During that chase, the suspect allegedly showed a handgun before a Pearland police officer discharged his weapon multiple times, the Houston Police Department said in a press conference. HPD then received a call about a shooting involving an officer in the 400 block of Griggs at about 2 p.m.
