On Wednesday, the palace announced the King’s birthday celebration, known as the Trooping the Colours, will take place on June 17, 2023.

King Charles also revealed that the Queen Consort will serve as the Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, a position previously held by the disgraced Prince Andrew.Amid the changes, the palace also announced the annual Trooping of the Colours will take place on June 17, 2023 — despite Charles’ 75th birthday actually being in November.by deciding to hold the parade months before his actual name day due to better weather.
The parade — which also celebrates the armed forces — will showcase more than 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians, according to Buckingham Palace.In fact, some royals will also participate in the parade while riding horseback for thousands of people to cheer on from afar.
