Thompson is averaging 21.9 points per game, exactly 25th-best in the league this year. His other stats, however, are less impressive: 4.1 rebounds per game and 2.4 assists. In the Warriors' Saturday night Game 1 loss to the Sacramento Kings, Thompson had 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Sacramento held on for the win, toppling Golden State 126-123 at the Golden 1 Center.
"That first game is kind of a feeling out process," Curry said after the game."We responded. That’s what we are capable of doing. It was a high energy game from start to finish."
