Starting this week, Krispy Kreme will begin to deliver hot, fresh donuts right to customers' doorsteps from about one hundred of its American locations. According to Food & Wine, the delivery program only applies to fifteen states : California, Washington D.C., Delaware, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The Donut giant has also commented that they are"currently in the process of rolling out online ordering across all of its locations and should be complete by the end of 2019." Then, from California to the New York island, these donuts will be made for you and me! In terms of product distribution, Krispy Kreme will start with deliveries of their classic dozen, as well as the Coffee Brew Box and other beverages. While delivery fees will vary based on location, the minimum starts at $7.99. Not too shabby. And although there's no mobile app service as of now, that will reportedly be a part of this program “in the near future.” With all that being said, this is all clearly very new for our donut friends. So just be patient, people.
