Kristen Stewart’s punkish pixie owned the red carpet at the Charlie’s Angels premiere.
is out to prove that growing out a buzz cut is actually an appealing affair. With abbreviated styles that have ricocheted from close-shorn to shaved, piece-y to perfectly coiffed, Stewart's close-to-the-crown lengths lately seem even more versatile than their down-to-there counterparts. For last night's premiere ofin L.A, the actress continued on her mission, her punkish, predominantly brunette hair giving way to peroxide ends.
Stewart's evening gambit of high-impact eye makeup and off-kilter hair was on full display, her gaze encased in a smoked mauve topped with a flick of black eyeliner. But it was her hair, styled by Adir Abergel, that demanded the majority of onlooker attention. "I wanted to create a look that embodied 90’s street style grunge,” says Abergel of the concept, a goal he achieved with wet-look texture furthered by spiked and swept elements.
