The soft serve ice cream in a pouch will be available at Mollie Stone’s grocery stores throughout the Bay Area.
San Francisco has a lot of great ice cream — Swensen’s, Mitchell’s, Humphry Slocombe, Bi-Rite. But thanks to a Los Angeles-based soft serve company, San Franciscans will be able to get their hands on what Eater LA recently called “LA’s food item of the year.” But get this — it’s served in a pouch. CVT Soft Serve, which stands for chocolate-vanilla-twist, was born from two East Coast transplants who had a hankering for that cold, creamy swirl from back home. They just couldn’t find it in LA.
