The items were in binders in a backpack that was found in Lancaster.

Lancaster police are trying to reunite a backpack filled with stamps and historical photos with its owner. The backpack was found in the 500 block of Fourth Street in August.Police are putting the information out now because no one has claimed it.The backpack contained three binders that police believe to be a valuable collection of stamps and historical photos.

They think these items were stolen but have not received any inquiries about the found property.Officers believe the backpack belonged to the person who took the items and not the actual owner. If you have any information about who the items belong to, contact evidence technician Drew Hollinger by calling 717-735-6660 or emailing [email protected].
