A cellphone video shows the alligator swimming toward a group of Girls Scouts in a lake in Huntsville, Texas.
. The person recording the video can be heard yelling “Look how big it is!” as the alligator swims toward the children, who can be seen scrambling to get out of the water as parents race to help them.“He was definitely sneaking,” Noel Garcia, one of the parents at the lake, tells Fox 26. “There’s no doubt.”
Troop leader Nichole Glenn helped lead the scouts to safety, including one girl who had jumped into the water without realizing the alligator was nearby.
