Following a procession of men to have held the post of 007 since the James Bond franchise launched in 1962, the role will, at long last, belong to a black woman.Captain Marvel.James Bond ; rather, she’s going to assume his agent number now that he’s fucked off to his retirement in Jamaica. But, he’ll come trotting back because no one ever just seems to be able to stay retired:
A movie insider said: ‘There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says ‘Come in 007', and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful and a woman.
