Riders\u0027 placekicker Brett Lauther has emerged as an ambassador for Touchdown Atlantic.
and his father, Troy, were able to land 180 tickets for Saturday’s Touchdown Atlantic game in Wolfville, N.S., against the Toronto Argonauts. The numerous family and friends of the Nova Scotia-born kicker are expected to fill six rows of the 10,000-seat stadium at Acadia University.
“I can’t wait,” Troy Lauther said. “It has been months since they announced it and it has been like a big countdown. I’ve seen Brett play, but a lot of my family members haven’t and they are pretty excited. We booked six rows, but there would have been lots more. He went with family and closest friends and made sure that we looked after ourselves first.”
