“We apologize for any inconvenience this closure will cause our residents; however, it is necessary to complete a major water infrastructure project for the city,” city spokeswoman Sarah Osborne said. The city will take precautions to ensure the preserve is protected during the work, and workers will use underground directional drilling methods, Osborne said.
