Lebanon says it received an Interpol arrest notice for former Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn
More than a year after former Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn was arrested over alleged financial wrongdoing, his case took an unexpected turn as he fled Japan for Lebanon. PHOTO: BEHROUZ MEHRI/AGENCE FRANCE-PRESSELebanon received an Interpol arrest notice for the former Nissan Motor Co. chairman Carlos Ghosn, according to a justice ministry statement posted on the official Lebanese state news agency Thursday.
The former auto executive fled over the weekend to Lebanon from Japan where he was facing corruption allegations. The statement on NNA, the Lebanese state news agency, quoted the caretaker minister of justice, Albert Serhan.
