Leslie Grace se unirá al universo cinematográfico de DC Comics interpretando a Batichica en una película independiente, de Warner Bros., de acuerdo con Entertainment Tonight.
El filme tendrá su lanzamiento en HBO Max y se convertirá en uno de los primeros proyectos importantes de DC en tener un estreno exclusivo en la plataforma de streaming.
Los cineastas Adil El Arbi y Bilall Fallah serán los directores del largometraje a partir de un guión de Christina Hodson; será producido por Kristin Burr.
“Este es mi primer ‘algo’ en pantalla como actriz, lo que una anomalía de primeras veces. Es raro cuando encuentras proyectos y gente que te hacen sentir como en casa. Sabía que iba a ser muy consentida por esta experiencia”, comentó la intérprete de “Lo Siento” en una entrevista en mayo. “Interpretar a Nina Rosario se pareció mucho a mi propia experiencia personal. Y luego llegar a interpretar a un papel como el de Nina con gente que se siente como familia, que se volvió mi familia y que es brillante, eso no ocurre todos los días. Me siento y me sentí todos los días muy bendecida”.
