Grand Ole Opry, a show and dance, will be held at the Western Development Museum Friday at 7:30 p.m. Tribute band England presents the music of Merle Haggard, Dwight Yoakam, CCR, Loretta Lynn, Tanya Tucker, Brooks and Dunne, and Johnny Cash. Guests include a steel guitar player and a fiddle player.

Tickets are available in advance at Sobeys at Eighth Street and Cumberland Avenue, and Captain’s Den in Market Mall.Filmed in Regina by Saskatoon’s KarmaFilm, Donkeyhead opens at Roxy Theatre on Friday. A failed writer cares for her ailing Sikh father until he has a stroke and her three successful siblings come to take control of the situation. Director Agam Darshi will host a Q&A at the theatre Sunday at 7:30 p.m., with Jody Peters moderating.
