between the premier and independent MLA Nadine Wilson stood out to me. The premier stated: “there are a number of constituents … that would like the opportunity to vote in a byelection … We hear about it. Area MLAs hear about it.”
The obvious rebuttal would be that “a number of constituents” and members of the premier’s party would like the opportunity to vote not in aWhile Nadine Wilson was allegedly ejected from the Saskatchewan Party for withholding information about herself, the premier was arguably chosen as party leader in 2018 in part because his own legal history was not widely known to party members.
I know I am late in commenting on this; I thought the Official Opposition would eventually defend a fellow MLA from the premier’s unsportsmanlike conduct. Maybe a new party in opposition would point out this hypocrisy.When Lloyd Robertson did the newscasts in his older years it was a little painful to see him aging, but I trusted him and tuned in faithfully. Keeping up on what’s happening in the world is my necessary fix.
