Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. is considering unloading its Starz premium-cable channel.
The movie and television production company could separate its pay-TV and streaming business from the rest of its operations through a variety of means, including a sale or spinoff, the company said in a securities filing Thursday. Starz is known for its original series, including “Power” and “Outlander.”
