Taking your child to school today? The state mask mandate has ended, but some districts in San Diego County still recommend the use of them on campus. Here’s what to know:
California, along with Oregon and Washington, earlier this month announced the March 12 lift date, the requirement officially expired at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.
The new guidance makes face coverings a recommendation rather than a requirement at schools, regardless of vaccination status but individual school districts have the option to go beyond the state’s policy and require masks.
