It ended a Crimson Tide streak of 29-straight wins in September. The last loss came to Ole Miss in 2015, a four-point final. Nick Saban had only lost once as UA’s head coach to a non-conference team at home, too, before a former assistant delivered an upset. Saban will meet with the reporters to talk about the No. 3 Tide’s performance as well as Texas’ ability to create big plays when he meets with reporters in a few minutes.--“This was a test for everybody. ... We obviously didn’t do very well. It’s the mid-term, not the final,” Saban said.
