Search And Rescue Canines, Crews Deploying To Perryton, Texas
“We are going to deploy a full cache and 80 personnel including four live-find and four human remains canines," Task Force 1 spokesperson Merribeth Kahlich told weather.com in a phone call moments ago.The teams can search for both survivors and victims. They are expected to arrive on scene tomorrow morning.There's been no indication from Perryton of whether anyone is injured or not. Search and rescue is ongoing.
The storms don't specifically target one town or another as they move along wherever winds aloft push them, but on occasion, they do hit towns or cities along their path.
