Firefighters are tackling a fire at an apartment building in the north Kensington area of London, the UK's Press Association reports
London Firefighters in west London controlled a fire at an apartment block in Notting Hill, West London, after a 12th floor balcony near Grenfell Tower was reported alight.
Eight fire engines and 60 firefighters were sent to the scene after reports of smoke coming from a building on Darfield Way in north Kensington, the London Fire Brigade said.The building is located near Grenfell Tower, where 72 people died in a blaze June 2017."Crews worked hard and did a really good job to bring the fire under control quickly,"Simon Tuhill, a London Fire Brigade spokesman who was at the scene said in a statement.
