The first of 72 new PATH rail cars debuted in Hoboken Terminal Thursday and will be in regular service starting next week.
After explanations and descriptions about the shiny new PATH train behind him in the Hoboken Terminal, Port Authority chairman Kevin O’Toole said the words people had been waiting to hear, “Who wants to go for a ride?”made its debut Thursday and customers will be able to start riding them next week. The new cars, ordered from Kawasaki in 2017 and 2018, will make their debut on trains next week, O’Toole said.
