Yellowlees pulled down double duties at this winter’s K of C Games, both announcing and making sure the invitational field he recruited was present and accounted for. He has the distinction of competing at the first K of C meet, in 1965, on a bouncy suspension floor at the old Saskatoon Arena. Runners compete in the 2020 Knights of Columbus Indoor Games elementary relays at the Saskatoon Field House in Saskatoon, SK on Thursday, January 23, 2020.That atmosphere has since calmed, but the elementary relays — held in conjunction with the other K of C events — provide a sustained jolt of energy. So did Donovan Bailey, once the world’s fastest human, who was a guest of the Games this year and mixed and mingled with those in attendance.
