The process to extradite 'Doomsday Mom' Lori Vallow is moving along, after Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs signed an extradition request and sent it back to the State of Idaho.
It'll still be another three to six months before she'll be brought back to Maricopa County to face additional charges.
This latest development came months after the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said they intend to extradite Vallow back to Arizona in connection with the death of Charles Vallow, as well as an alleged conspiracy involving thePolice say Vallow conspired with her late brother, Alex Cox, who shot and killed Charles in 2019. Gilbert detectives allege Cox also shot at Boudreaux but missed.Lori Vallow is one step closer to returning to Arizona.
Vallow's conviction and subsequent sentencing in Idaho were the culmination of a three-year investigation that uncovered bizarre claims by Vallow that her son and daughter were zombies, and that she was a goddess sent to usher in the Biblical apocalypse. JJ and Tylee's disappearance, as well as the subsequent discovery of their remains in Idaho, also captured national and international media attention.
