Despite initially being upset, Lost actor Harold Perrineau, who played Michael, is reconsidering the divisive ending in a surprisingly positive way.
Harold Perrineau reconsiders Lost's divisive ending in a surprisingly positive way. Created by Jeffrey Lieber, J.J. Abrams, and Damon Lindelof, the series premiered on ABC back in 2004 and quickly became a hit. Following the survivors of Oceanic Airlines Flight 815, Lost explores the mysterious island they became stranded on and uses flashbacks to reveal more about their lives prior to the crash. Perrineau portrayed Michael Dawson, who was able to leave with his son at the end of season 2.
"Well, you know, back in the day, I was a little frustrated about it for the character, for Michael and for Walt. But, the thing that I think about, the people who are writing it and I really do appreciate it. It's the same thing I appreciate about From is that you get on this really great ride and you get on this ride that you become emotionally attached to.
