Trump tweets he's visiting Louisiana Friday, but his schedule says Mississippi
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump tweeted at one point Friday that he's looking forward to visiting Louisiana on Friday evening, but there was one big problem: His schedule says he's going to Mississippi.
"Louisiana, I’ll see you tonight," Trump said in a tweet that was later deleted. "Big Rally for Eddie R. He will be a GREAT GOVERNOR. Early voting starts! @EddieRispone."A rally in Monroe, La., where there is in fact a governor's race going on, is scheduled for Wednesday of next week. While he deleted the tweet, Trump has talked up Louisiana Republican candidate Eddie Rispone, who is challenging incumbent Gov. John Bel Edwards.
