Exclusive: LuisFonsi signs long-term recording contract with UMLE and co-management deal with GTS
has signed a long term recording contract with Universal Music Latin Entertainment , and co-management contract with Global Talent Services ,"I'm happy to continue on this great adventure next to the people that have tirelessly supported me throughout my career over the past 20 years,” says Fonsi in a press statement. "My dreams started with this family and throughout the years we have been able to accomplish the unimaginable. The best is yet to come.
The strategy behind the partnership is to continue to foster the growth of Fonsi’s career for years to come. The “Despacito” and “Échame La Culpa” singer signed the deal at the Universal Music offices in Miami. "Everyone at Universal Music is deeply grateful for the trust Luis Fonsi has placed in us during his artistic career," added. "We have many challenges and goals ahead and we will face them head on with the enthusiasm that an artist as unique as Luis Fonsi deserves."
Fonsi is currently on his Vida World Tour that started last weekend with two sold out shows in Toledo and Sevilla, Spain.
