Apartment builder Provident Realty and investor Trez Capital are teaming up on new RV projects in Burleson and near San Antonio.A Dallas-based developer with a track record of apartment construction is headed in a different direction with a project in Burleson.are teaming up to build a luxury recreational vehicle resort. The Roaming Trails RV Retreat will be constructed on 22 acres about 15 minutes south of downtown Fort Worth.The gated community will have spaces for 196 RVs.

“Roaming Trails RV Retreat will be a unique investment platform that we feel will excel in the RV park market.”Demand for RV parks and manufactured housing communities has grown in the last few years because of high housing costs and an increase in RV travel.Construction on Provident’s Burleson project is set to start before the end of the year. The developments are a first for Canada-based Trez Capital, which has an Addison office.

Provident Realty is a 32-year-old development firm, which has built a variety of North Texas projects including apartments, rental homes and industrial buildings. Provident has developed or invested in more than $5.5 billion worth of properties nationwide. Trez Capital’s Dallas office has provided more than $6.2 billion in loans. The firm has done five projects with Provident Realty.
